Brockton High School Chorus Teacher

Brockton High School seeks a licensed High School Chorus & Piano Teacher to provide standards-based instruction aligned with the Massachusetts Arts Curriculum Frameworks. The educator will develop students’ vocal and keyboard skills while contributing to a strong, inclusive performing arts program.
Qualifications:
- Massachusetts teaching license in Music K-12/5–12 or eligibility for licensure
- Demonstrate piano proficiency and choral conducting skills
- Secondary-level teaching experience preferred
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
- Deliver standards-aligned instruction in high school choral music and piano/keyboard courses
- Direct and rehearse choral ensembles and prepare students for concerts, performances, and competitions (i.e. Districts, All State, ACDA, MICCA, etc.)
- Assess student learning and maintain accurate academic records
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment consistent with DESE educator expectations
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and administration to support student success
- Participate in professional responsibilities including meetings, professional development, and school events

Bellingham Public Schools - Bellingham Memorial School, grades 4 - 7, has a long term sub position open for our middle school band/music teacher - 12 weeks, approx Feb 10 to May 5.
The position includes instrumental and general music, grades 4 - 7 at the Bellingham Memorial School. It will likely include 5th grade band lessons, 6th grade band, 7th grade band and some general music.
